Chances of Survival

My poor little daffodils! Yes, we got another snow fall yesterday and through the night. This is Spring???? I hope they survive! If you know the chances, let me know. I haven't planted them before:)

Easter Festivities at the Yoder's

We had a wonderful morning at church celebrating the Resurrection.
"Jesus is Alive" as Davis says it!

We had fun coloring eggs as well.

Here is the completed bunny cake. The boys helped me decorate it!

My neighbor brought these over. They were wrapped in tissue paper and when I put them in water, the next morning they bloomed like this! They smell incredible. I thought this picture was quite the contrast. Daffodils with snow covered trees in the backyard.

MMMM..... Davis helped me make a bunny cake for Easter Sunday Lunch.

What you learn when you are the youngest of 5 boys!

Some of you may not think this is funny I know. But the boys often "play dead" when shooting their dart guns and Davis has caught on. He was doing this the other day and I grabbed the camera and captured this re-inactment. Scott and I laughed later that night until we cried. I hope you will too:) Please know we don't encourage killing humans.

Some of my favorite pictures from our trip

We dropped these girls off close to thier home after church. They have nothing but are so happy. All of them were in the back of our truck!

This baby's skin was as black as a cocoa bean:)

We had a great time with Andres and Johana. SCORE missionaries that work with my mom and dad.

I love this picture

Many opportunities to preach the gospel

Scott spoke at a church in a village. He spoke on how we need to love and care for one another without boundries. It was excellent and really touched the people there.

Scott is here with a SCORE missionary and the pastor of the church. They wanted him to take a ride.

We went to a village and the guys played baseball with them and at the end we set up the speakers and Scott and a SCORE missionary presented the gospel. Look in the background.... it must have been laundry day.

Our Trip to the Dominican Republic

We were able to spend 1 day at a local resort. It was absolutely beautiful as you can imagine. Thank you to Grandma C. who paid for us to go. It was very relaxing:)
These are the apartments where my mom and dad live. It is very nice and we're glad they have a nice place to retreat to.

We were able to go to La Romana to visit Zuleka (who live with my parents for 6 months) at the orphanage. I am so sad I forgot to get a picture of her there but got others. We had a blast playing with the girls. The little one on the left was attatched to me. I could have taken her home with me:)
Here is their garden. Someone was there teaching them english. We helped them name animals in English. They were so excited to write them down. I am sure they will keep those papers and study them until they know the words.

I Forgot!

In my business of trying to leave and getting my kids set to stay home....I forgot to tell you all that I am in the Dominican Republic visiting my parents until Wednesday night. Scott and I are here by ourselves for a whole week. The boys were home with my sister for the first 3 days and now with a good friend until Wednesday. I can't wait to post pictures and tell you all about our trip when I get home. Don't worry about me tomorrow! Scott and I will be lounging on the beach and swimming in the Carribean for the day! Talk to you all soon!
