Webcam

How cool is this! For those of you who have family far away, you need to get one of these! It is a webcam and we got them for my parents who live in Dominican Republic half the year as missionaries. It is like you are sitting in front of them talking:) The boys love it. This is Karla, Jack and Davis saying "hi" to nanny and boppa. Davis leaned up and gave Nanny a kiss goodbye! So much fun.

Hope for Hollywood???

I was forwarded this video and thought it was pretty interesting. I watch E.R. occasionally and this female chaplain represents this "feel good" philosophy. But this time a patient questions it and actually argues her case! It gave me chills to think about how many unbelievers out there have these kinds of questions and are looking for truth. ABSOLUTE TRUTH! Let me know what you think!(you'll have to pause the music at the bottom of the page:)

A fun week for the boys!

Yes, we are back. Sorry it took me a couple of days to re-group:) We had a busy day Saturday with Upwards and of course Sunday as well. Yesterday I spent the entire day (during and after school of course) cleaning my house. It is sparkling today:) Of course that will not last long! Judy sent some pictures of the boys and their adventures last week. Hope you enjoy:)

Love Chapman's face! The boys promised me these weren't real people. Amazing isn't it?

This is suppose to represent the side of the wall of the ark.

Nap time I take it??

What a crew! They met friends of the Neirs there that have 4 boys of thier own! Instant friends:)

Looks like so much fun. The boys can't stop talking about their week. Thank you Ray and Judy for your continuous generosity and love to our family! We love you!

Here but gone!

Hello everyone from Lafayette Indiana! (2 hours south of Elkart) I forgot to post that Scott and I are in at a NANC Biblical Counseling Training Seminar this week. Today is Monday and already my brain is fried:) Pray for me! I am not the best student. I am having Bible college flashbacks often! The boys are at Ashlee's (brandon's wife) parents house an hour south of here. They have a fun week planned with them. They are taking them to the Creation museum and staying at the Great Wolf Lodge (huge indoor water park) in Ohio and finishing the week at a tractor show. Pray for THEM!!! I will be back Saturday. Have a good week!

Self-portraits

Reis 11 Hudson 9 Chapman 7

This afternoon we head to an art class I put together for our homeschool group. A friend is teaching it and she requested each student bring a face snapshot of themself. I didn't have recent face shots so we took them this morning. They are such handsome boys, I decided to post them:) By the way, say goodbye to Reis' hair. At least some of it! We plan to get a hair cut today too. I've paid him off! (Just kidding:)

The girls' party

The "inspiration" party was a lot of fun. We talked, laughed, cried (from laughing so hard) and ate a lot of yummy sweets! The purpose of the night was to get the creative juices flowing on how to express how much we love the people in our family. Especially our husband:) It was all in good taste and again a lot of fun!:) Hope you plan to share your love on Valentine's day...only 7 days away!

Valentine's Day is coming

This last week in our MOPS group, we "re-packaged" 1/4 lb. chocolate bars. It was a fun, creative craft and will be fun to give away as a gift.

Tonight my good friend is hosting a "Valentine Inspiration Party". What is that you may ask? We are not exactly sure but this friend is known for her very creative ideas for Valentine's day. She decided to "help" her friends a little in their preparation. She is also a very "gourmet-like" cook and baker, so we are anticipating yummy desserts:) I will post soon what I come home with. Maybe she will inspire you all as well!

Super bowl preparation

Here are the boys preparing for the Big day- Superbowl Sunday. I meant to post this last week but didn't get to it. We enjoyed the game last night. Being Peyton Manning fans (Colts), the next best thing was his brother Eli on the Giants. It was a good game for us:) I failed to get a pic last night but the boys had our living room decorated for our "superbowl party" we hosted. We had 2 neighbor families and one family from church over to watch the game and eat good food:) We had a great time getting to know each other a little better.
