Amazed video

I came across this song this weekend as I am coordinating worship for a ladies retreat at our church in April. Imagine if we lived this way! I pray this will touch your heart as it did mine.

A day in the life of Davis!

A day in the life of Davis! He seems to find goofy things to do while mom is busy teaching the boys. He likes to were football jerseys lately and his brothers' shoes. He loves pudding, as you can tell. We are dog-sitting again for my sisters' Boston Terrier and Davis loves to get into his cage and sit with him. Here is how I found him yesterday:) Oh what fun to be 2!

Disclaimer

Yes, I am posting Sunday a.m. Some virus finally caught up to the Yoders. We were fortunate enough to escape any illnesses yet this winter....until now. So I am home with 2 this morning. I really miss worshipping on Sunday's when I am not able to go. I have been listening to some live services on the web. It is not the same of course:) I hope you were able to enjoy praising and learning about our Lord this morning. I'd love to hear from you! Tell me your favorite part of the worship service you attended:)

Sledding with the boys

Needless to say, Davis did NOT enjoy sledding.
Actually, he didn't like the snow pants, hat and especially gloves on. So we watched the boys from the van.

It was a great day. Not too cold but lots of snow. They didn't even need a sled:)

We have lift off!

Davis just learned how to actually get off the ground when he jumps. Before now he would try to jump but never actually leave the ground. He is so proud of this accomplishment:)

Little Provisions

I am truly amazed at how God continues to provide for our family! Chapman was in need of some new basketball shoes. Our Upward league started this week and crocs weren't cutting it:)He and I had been shopping all week for some but only had X amount of dollars we wanted to spend. We were told kids basketball shoes were cheap at a store called Steve and Barry's in Mishawaka where everything in the store was under $20. We made a date to go today and can you believe we walked in and everything in the store was $8.98??? Yes, even basketball shoes. We thanked God as we drove home for HIS special gift to us today:) If you have this store near you... you gotta go. Even winter coats- $8.98!

Crazy Indiana Weather!

Can you believe this is our backyard in a matter of a few days? We went from way below freezing to a high of 63 on Monday. We spent our afternoon playing outside without coats. We were pretty productive too by washing the car, hosing out the garage and giving Reggie a bath. It felt so good to be out. I wouldn't mind if God did this every year in January:)

House Guest

Meet our friend Reggie. We are "dog sitting" for my brother this week. He is pretty much a BIG puppy. He is a giant schnauzer and giant he is. He is great with the boys. Davis can crawl all over him and he won't move. We have enjoyed the opportunity to have a dog "on loan" but are glad we don't have one of our own yet:)

Happy New Year!

Wow Happy New year to those of us in Northern Indiana! We got over a foot of snow yesterday and boy are we having fun! It is really crazy looking out there and seeing so much of it! The boys of course are loving it! Our last Christmas break fling was to have 3 of the boys' friends spend the night last night so here is the bunch. They were great and had a lot of fun.
