It's been a full week around here. My cousin Pam and her son Logan came for a visit. As well as my sister and Jack. Here is the crew sitting at the farmer's market. Aunt Pam spoiled the boys in many ways but one was giving them each $6 to spend. Tuesday, January 27, 2009

Little Bit of Everything
Yesterday morning was a treat. We woke up to a very sunny day. I opened my favorite door and loved the "heat" I felt coming through.
Rudy update: Doing pretty well. He is doing great at night and has learned to love his room (the laundry room). We had company the other night and we didn't hear a peep from him. Still working on the potty training. As long as we take him out every 3-4 hours he does great:)
The boys have enjoyed the snow. We have about 12-15 inches and more in some spots. It comes up to Davis' thigh which is funny to watch him walk in it. The temps have been bitter cold- below 0- but this week, it has been "warm" enough to get outside in it.

Good Friends- Following the Lord's calling
My very close friend Adrienne, her husband Jeff and 2 kids Clay and Emma left for India last week and arrived on Saturday. They will be teaching in a boys Christian school and living at a boys orphanage until June. I would love for you all to pray for them with me as they follow what the Lord has layed on their heart to do. You can read about their journey here.
Our church had a time of prayer last Sunday before they left. Please join us that God will use them in a tremendous way!Wednesday, January 7, 2009
Back in the Saddle again
Well, it was back to school for the Yoder boys. It was time. We had a great break but I was ready to get back to a schedule. Our morning usually starts out with Bible Devotions together then they are off to complete their daily assignments for each subject. Hudson and Chapman usually choose to do their reading in a quiet place first. Today I was able to capture that pic without too much distraction.

Davis was needing a constuctive activity so he did a little painting. It kept his attention for about...3 minutes. Hey, I'll take it!

It's a Boy!
Same old...same old... NO this time it's a puppy not a human:) I realized recently that I have not posted about our best Christmas present of all! He is a Bea-Shih which is a Beagle Shih-tzu cross. He is such a good puppy. He is 5 months and has adjusted well to our household. Here are a few pics of him.

This is what a walk looks like with Rudy.
#1 Come on Rudy
