Let the fun begin!!

Well, here it is! This is what is now sitting in our driveway. It's been nice to pack a box and get it out of the house. There has been some interesting timing in all of this...Scott had a trip to the D.R. planned for months now, long before we knew we'd be moving this week. He left last Tuesday for a pastors conference with Dominican pastors, US pastors and over 100 Haitian pastors. He's having a great time. He also took Chapman with him, as my parents like to fly each of the boys down around 9 years of age. So...that left him gone until tomorrow and we move Thursday! It's been a little crazy but God has been so faithful to us here at home. He has provided lots of help here and at our new house, cleaning and getting it ready for us to move in. My next post will probably be after we move in and get internet access. Should be interesting living out in the country! Will keep you all posted!

California

On June 8th, Scott and I had the privilege to go out to southern California for a week. The purpose of this trip was 2-fold. For one, after 12 long years, Scott finished his studies and graduated from Bethel Seminary in San Diego with a Master's of Divinity. Second, we celebrated 15 years of marriage on June 17th. Basically all 18 years we have been together, he has been a student...somewhere. We had a wonderful time together relaxing, seeing old friends, sightseeing and going to some of our favorite places.

Our good friends flew out to attend Scott's graduation and be a part at his 'mentor in ministry'.

The seals at La Jolla.

When we traveled north an hour, we found where the sun was hiding! The old gang (young in years:) from our Menifee ministry days.

Other friends (3 of the 5) that opened their home for the rest of our stay. We had a blast catching up the last 6 years!
Santa Rosa Plateau

Can't leave southern Cali without an In-N-Out burger!
Thank you to great friends and grandparents who kept our kids for us while we were gone.

Down at the Farm House

Many of you have asked for pictures of our farm house we are in the process of purchasing. Well, here you go! Here is our little 3 acre piece of heaven:)

Here is a shot from the road. The house and buildings sit on 1 acre and there is another 2 acres behind the big barn.
Here is the living room, looking into the front parlor.

Beautiful new kitchen

Here is single garage and work shop. An additional 2 stall garage is connected to the house. And of course the already installed hoop was a big hit!

The Party Barn as Davis calls it! We anticipate a lot of fun to be had in this building. Its got 2 huge lofts on either side with animal stalls underneath.
