Our last day at First Baptist Church was this past Sunday. It was an emotional day as we are overwhelmed with how God has used that ministry and the people in it to shape us and we are going miss so many things about it. Pastor had a time of prayer and a 'sending out' for us at the end of the morning services then a farewell reception that evening.
Scott's first day down in Plymouth is today (say a prayer for him:) so we decided to take the boys out of school a couple of days this week and take a little trip to our favorite city of all...Chicago! It happened to be free days at all the museums so we hit all 4 in 2 days. We got a very nice hotel for cheap on priceline. Two rooms actually so no one had to sleep on the floor! BIG treat:)
The Field Museum had a 3-D movie on Dinosaurs. Of course we had a lot of counter-teaching to do afterwards... No they did not live over 300 MILLION years ago:) Every time it was mentioned, they would turn to look at us. We know the truth!

We had a wonderful time of being together and gearing up for our next big adventure!

what a fun trip!!!! yeah...it's always so good to get away..glad you had a good time and i love the pictures.....the news feed is sooo cute.....
